How Console Email Validation Works

A clear and honest explanation of what Console does — and what it intentionally does not do.

What Console Is Built For

Console is a pre-send email risk validation platform. It helps you identify harmful or risky emails before sending campaigns, so you can protect your sender reputation and avoid unnecessary bounces.

Console is not an inbox existence checker and does not make delivery or inbox placement guarantees.

What Console Does Not Do

  • Does not send emails on your behalf
  • Does not access inboxes or mailboxes
  • Does not perform SMTP mailbox probing
  • Does not guess inbox existence
  • Does not guarantee delivery, opens, or replies

Why Inbox Existence Cannot Be Guaranteed

Without sending an email, it is technically impossible to confirm whether a specific mailbox exists. DNS and MX records only indicate whether a domain can receive email — not whether a particular inbox is valid.

This is why Console classifies emails by risk, not certainty.

Email Validation Categories

✅ Safe

These emails come from trusted providers with valid mail servers and have the highest likelihood of deliverability. While inbox existence cannot be guaranteed without deeper checks, they are considered low-risk and safe to send.

❌ Invalid

These emails are definitely bad and should be removed immediately. Examples include invalid syntax, domains without mail configuration, and disposable email addresses.

⚠️ Risky

Higher-risk addresses such as role-based emails (info@, admin@). They may exist, but are more likely to cause delivery or engagement issues.

❓ Catch-All

The domain accepts all mail, but inbox existence cannot be confirmed. Many real inboxes fall into this category. Send cautiously and monitor results.

How to Use the Results

  1. Send confidently to Safe emails first
  2. Delete all Invalid emails
  3. Segment and send cautiously to Risky emails
  4. Send to Catch-All emails last with throttling
